Project Specialist

Project Specialist – (Short Hills area; manage projects and work hand-in-hand for the CEOs of this asset management firm/family office; you need to be smart, quick and have a passion for client service; base of 80-100k with bonus so total compensation 100-130k)

Our client, a $10B 25-year old asset manager, is seeking an energetic, dynamic individual who is accustomed to working in a corporate setting at the highest level. This professional will manage a variety of projects, report directly to the CEO, and work collaboratively with the other members of the Executive Office team. Responsibilities include:

 

·       Interacting and collaborating regularly with the CEO and senior managers to coordinate deliverables from various departments

·       Providing project management oversight for various initiatives

·       Preparing, reviewing, and editing communications, reports, presentations and other documents

·       Reviewing client materials to ensure accuracy and conformity to company standards

·       Working with in-house editors to coordinate writing projects, manage documents for publication, and ensure timelines are met

·       Managing projects with outside entities, including theXXXXXXXX Management Center for Quantitative Financial Research at a top Ivy League School

·       Coordinating public relations projects

·       Managing the firm’s website and on-line presence and conducting internet research

·       Managing the firm’s library and journal subscriptions

·       Assisting in event planning, for both internal and external events

·       Working as a team player with the other Executive Office Team members

 

This position requires a skilled, professional individual who has a strong work ethic, high degree of professionalism, and professional integrity with an understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality.  Position title will depend on the individual’s experience and qualifications.  Requirements include:

·       Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree a plus

·       5+ years of related experience in a fast-paced corporate office environment

·       Experience managing projects with strong attention to detail 

·       Strong organization skills with the ability to establish plans, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines

·       Ability to interface with all organizational levels internally as a representative of the Executive Office

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Ability to use proper judgment to reprioritize work for urgent matters with multiple on-going activities and responsibilities

·       Team player with flexibility and a positive attitude

·       Strong ethics and integrity

·       Excellent PC skills. Highly proficient in MS Office Suite
