Assistant to Estate Manager/Human Resources Administrator

Assistant to Estate Manager/Human Resources Administrator - Be the righthand person to a firm that provides outsourced Estate Management to clients in the Pound Ridge area in Westchester County NY.  Clients own 25+ acre estates and thevfirm employs 50 employees.  Compensation in 60k to 80k plus bonus area and full employee benefits are paid for by the firm.  Most employees have worked at the firm for over 10 years.


Responsibilities:


Be the assistant to the Estate Manager and specifically be the expert in human resources, backing up the head of the business on routine matters and other administrative support to a high service concierge business that

provides multiple services including chefs, maids, landscape design and maintenance, chauffeurs, lawn maintenance, equestrian services, routine house maintenance to well-to-do clients.


Own the administration (email, project management software, keeping Estate Manager and others' calendars, correspondence with clients), all human resources processes (i.e., new hirers, benefits, leave of absence,

terminations, etc.) and learn all business processes so if Estate Manager is absent this person can act on behalf of the estate manager.

  • Bachelors degree a plus
  • demonstrated skills to be able to work as a professional assistant in a high expectation professional services firm such a law firm, financial services firm, etc.
  • prior experience working on an estate required
  • very good knowledge of human resources law and administration
  • experience acting on behalf of an owner of a high client service business with excellent skills on satisfying the client by taking ownership of problems and quarterbacking them through to the satisfaction of the client (i.e., making sure the client knows that you  will get resolution)
