Head of Sales - SaaS Client Reporting Software (Boston area)

Head of Sales - Define branding and sales strategy; Be both strategic and an accomplished hunters.   Besides the client reporting product you are responsible for, cross sell other products; Worcester/Boston area; Base in low 100's with total compensation 350+.

Invent the branding, sales and product strategy.  Be both strategic and hands-on as the position sets strategy and then executes the strategic by carry a quota.  Be an evangelist / product specialist for other sales colleagues who will cross sell the product.  Generate sales revenue through your direct efforts as well as through other colleagues within a sales territory to meet agreed revenue targets. Develop pipeline and target prospects with solutions.   Great sales forecasts that you meet or exceed.  Lead the solution analysis, effectively position the solution and negotiate the terms.

  • 10 to 15 years’ experience directly selling complex specialized products and solutions within the asset/investment management middle-to-back office. 
  • Be the #1 or #2 leader in sales in all positions held during your career.  This position has an individual quota you are responsible for.
  • Be both a great sales person and a near SME (Subject Matter Exprrt)
  • Be able to hold 30 introductory meetings with prospects in your first 60 days.
  • Develop a trust-advisor relationship with all levels of clients and be a full-out client advocate.
  • Ability to travel 50-75%. 
  • Be able to be self-sufficient in all selling needs and have a ask for forgiveness rather than permission approach.
  • Experience with a CRM such as salesforce important or another CRM a plus
