Marketing Coordinator / PowerPoint Specialist (3B+ PE firm; midtown; 60k base + bonus)

Our client has an exciting position open in its marketing department for a candidate who
specializes in the creation and maintenance of PowerPoint presentations. The Marketing
Coordinator will primarily develop engaging presentations for the firm’s fundraising efforts, and
will also be responsible for coordinating and documenting approvals from the firm’s compliance
department. The Marketing Coordinator is required to have previous experience working in the
financial industry so he/she is familiar with financial concepts and in turn, can effectively.

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Director and other members of
the marketing team, but should also be self-sufficient. The ideal candidate must have excellent
communication skills and a high attention to detail. Lastly, the candidate must have the ability to
accommodate a workload that is very heavy at times, and to adjust their schedule accordingly to
meet tight deadlines.

 Prepare high-quality pitchbooks and presentations consistent with the firm’s brand
 Produce associated graphs, charts and other design elements for presentations; collaborate with
graphic designer when needed
 Coordinate acquiring data from multiple sources, including the executive management team
 Proofread work for accuracy of typing, layout, consistency and format
 Manage audit trail and coordinate and document all approvals from the firm’s compliance
 Assist with printing and binding presentations
 Oversee inventory of presentations in circulation
 Manage and update presentation library
 Assist with tracking production data
 Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
 Assist with tasks and special projects within marketing program as assigned

Core Skills
 Expert PC-based PowerPoint and Word skills
 Strong proficiency in Excel and Outlook
 3+ years related experience; 1+ years related experience in the financial industry
 Minimum 2-year college degree
 Strong design sense and keen visual eye
 Typing skills of at least 55 wpm with a high level of accuracy
 Excellent verbal, writing and proofreading skills
 Ability to meet tight deadlines efficiently and work under pressure
 Strong multi-tasking and management of projects
 Sharp attention to detail
 Proactive, can-do attitude
 Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Desirable Skills
 Prior marketing, design and/or writing experience
 MS PowerPoint, Excel, and/or Word certifications
 Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator
 Experience with SalesLogix or other customer relationship management (CRM) software
